Colors
Each "Burst Linker" has a duel avatar. The avatar has a name that usually reflects the power or characteristics of your avatar.Avatars have a first and last name. The first name most always be the color of your Avatar. The last name can be anything you wish. Wait a minute though! You can't just go picking any color. For every color has its own meaning. The color system of Accel World shows your fighting style.
Red Colors- Long Range-Direct Damage
The Long Range fighter uses weapons and attacks that are have far distances. In the anime the king of red uses guns, missiles, and lasers. However, you can find your own way of doing long range damage. This color leans on long ranged weapons more then the rest of character. The attribute mostly boosted for these guys is attack.
Blue Colors- Close Range-Direct Damage
The close range fighter. These guys use typical weapons like that of swords, claws, and gauntlets. Do not be surprised by the fact that these guys also have perfect mid-range attacks. They are the people who you don't want to get near too for it may prove dangerous.
Yellow Colors- Indirect Damage
The indirect fighter. These guys use illusions, confusions, and indirect attacks. Indirect meaning that the attack isn't a straightforward. It has a indirect feature which does most of the damage. These guys are the tricksters of the game. They are known for having high intelligence.
Purple Colors- Mix of Close/Long Range Damage.
These guys are the all around distance fighters. They can go long or go short with there fighting styles.
Green Colors- Mix of Close/Indirect Damage.
These guys are usually the defensive players who like to attack closely, but also indirectly. These guys mix it up and are known to have high defense.
Black Colors- A mix of every fighting style. Primarily leans on one.
The aggressors of the game. These fighter use a reckless style of fighting that leans on a bit of everything. Having a bit of everything is nice, but it also can be a drawback when going against primary fighters.
White Colors- Build Your own Fighting Style
These guys have no fighting style. Instead of being normal they build there own way of fighting through leveling and boosts. With no style they lack bonuses, but also have the advantage of surprise for any opponent that fights them. This color is the hardest one to begin with.
