Name: Ashley Gantver (Nicknames: Ashtver, Ash)
Age: 16
Visual Age: 15-16
Appearance: Ashtver has wild but smooth brown hair that dips low towards his right eye. His skin is fair to pale, as he is also in real life. In the real world, he is a little fat, but in Elder Tale, he has altered his body mass to be slightly more fit and forgiving. He is average in height, not too tall and not too short. His eyes are fairly squinted, due to literally growing in the dark. He prefers to wear black attire, but will occasionally wear small parts of white to accent his black wear. You will usually find his clothing to be long and quite skin-concealing. He really can't tell the difference between formal and casual occasions, so wears whatever he sees fit. Ashtver walks in a lazy but laid-back and care-free way. People see him as goth or emo at times, but in actual fact he is happy and (usually) polite. i.imgur.com/bmxuqfv.jpg
Occupation: Ash goes to Shinjizana High, but does not currently have a job.
Neuro-Linker: Ash's Neuro-Linker is quite thin, being mostly black with white highlights on the edges. The ends curl upwards towards his jaw.
Keywords: I vow to obey the rules, or die trying.
History: Ash has worn a Neuro-Linker since he was born. He put this device to good use throughout schooling, and received higher-than-average grades. However, the friend list was something that was left mostly blank, bar a few names. Ash wasn't very social He stayed secluded from people, and didn't go out of his house often except for school. Although, one thing that he was social in was his games. He had a deep passion for gaming ever since he was three. He didn't play for competition or glory, though. He played for fun. He didn't have the reaction time to be good at normal FPS games, nor the puzzle solving skills for puzzles and platformers. When inside a virtual world, though, his heart rate accelerated, due to becoming immersed, heightening his reaction time.
However, when he overheard a talk about an app called Brain Burst, he was pumped. It was another virtual reality game based around fighting. He wanted this so badly, and, like a child, went around asking about the game. Of course, he was shrugged off and labeled as 'delusional', until, one day, a student from the nearby University sent him a message telling him to meet him at a coffee shop, not too far from the high school. He was stunned when he realised it was actually a female who'd invited him. She looked stunning, flowing blond hair and lightly tanned skin. She told him about the accelerated world and burst points, but never about the avatar. Ash begged for her to transfer Brain Burst to his Neuro-Linker. Of course, she sent him the download willingly. Too much stuff wasn't explained, though. She smiled and waved at him as he walked out the door, only to find himself in the Accelerated World... (read Burgundy Needle's first link for more!)
